High Wycombe Music Centre

HWMC

England – High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire

The High Wycombe Music Centre was founded in 1968. It’s one of the three Musical centers organized and managed by the Council of the County of Buckinghamshire that aim to promote and develop the musical talent of the younger generation from the age of six to nineteen who live or attend schools in the county.
Many of the ensembles and choirs have excelled in national competitions and have often participated in the National Festival of Music for Youth and have also performed at the Royal Albert Hall in London. Regularly groups of the Music Centre have undertaken overseas tours, visiting in recent years Slovakia, the Czech Republic and the Alsace.
The HWMC is divided into three main formations:
Youth Choir, Clarinet Choir, Guitar Consort.
