The Club “TurinStars Majorettes” is the historic representative of he the Italian Federation of Majorettes, for years is considered the Main National group of Italian Majorettes, founded in Turin in 1990, nowadays is associated with MSP-CONI, is reference point for traditional Majorettes groups who practice this activity in a not competitive way.
Constitute as American Majorettes Corps, the team is composed by seniors majorettes, as captains, vice captains and soloists by F.I.G.M. Clubs. Is formed by 24 Majorettes and 6 Color Guards. Normally the group participate in parades with Representative or Military Bands, they have shows at institutional events or to represent Majorettes and bands at important national and international events as the ‘Giro d’Italia’, Viareggio Carnival, Winter Olympic games in Turin 2006, World Championships of Fishing, Cross World Championships, World Master Games 2015, the ‘Universiadi’, the ‘Convittiadi’, the Celebrations of the 150th of Italy Union, the National day of Popular Music in Rome, the International Band Festival in Giulianova.
Abroad the group represented Italy in many occasions, in particular at the National Band Meeting in Oland and at the twinning of Turin with Chambery.
The groups is also famous because its participation in many famous tv programmes as “Giochi senza Frontiere”, “Paperissima”, “Notte di Fiaba”, “Uno contro 100”, “Telethon”, “Detto fatto”, “Ma che tempo che fa” and others.
They participate in the International Music Festival of Genoa since many years.
