Israele – Zikhron Ya’aqov

Zichron Ya’akov concert youth band consists of 42 members aged from 12 to 18 coming from Zichron Ya’akov and surrounding area. All of them are students of the music centre and they have rehearsal once a week. Some students study more than one instrument and participate in various ensembles. The educational concept inspiring the band activities enfolds cutting-edge musical education. Although still young in age, the band is gradually gaining a respectful position in the music education scene in Israel leading the clear objective of creating synergy between artistic activities, social life and communal commitment. International appearances:
2000: Tour the US and Canada. Guest band at Disneyland.
2002: Tour to the US;
2004: International competition Vienna 4th place, Mideurope festival Schladming, performances in Austria and Germany.
2006: International festival in Interlaken Switzerland, concert tour in Riesa Germany;
2010: International Festival, Edinburgh, Scotland.
